Malts.com is an online retailer for fine whisky, offering a range of high quality brands from distilleries across Scotland. The Distillers Edition Collection represents a selection of premium brands.

This brief was to create a series of communications championing the heritage of each whisky and its distillery, promoting the ranges in the run up to Christmas. Unusually there were no brand guidelines in place, leading me to create a visual identity to the comms which alluded to the main website alongside the collection and product labels.


A focus on heritage

Each whisky and its associated distillery held a unique history. We wanted to focus on location, utilising the map of Scotland behind each product to provide context. Flavour descriptions were rich and unique for each whisky. Each email focused on two specific products within The Distillers Edition Collection.

Utilising location photography alongside illustrated maps added depth and intrigue to each product profile.
